Goals
Acting For Charity Is a unique opportunity to bring StageCoachTheatre Arts Schools and your school or church together for a common cause. Fundraising is an ongoing process for most schools and churches and Acting for Charity is a win-win program. StageCoach Theatre Arts Schools are about building skills and confidence. Every student participates in all three performing arts disciplines: Drama classes which help the student develop confidence, Dance classes which develop their physical awareness and Singing classes developing articulation and communications skills.
Acting for Charity is StageCoach's way of introducing theatre arts to the community. StageCoach has been teaching children the art of Acting, Singing and Dancing for over 20 years and has found that fundraising and personal introductions, instead of expensive advertising , is a winner for your Child, your Organization and StageCoach. There is absolutely no obligation, just come and have fun.
The children who participate in this event have one morning of fun, acting, singing and dancing and a rewarding feeling that they helped their church or school raise money for the general fund or for a specific cause.
Your organization will receive postcards which outline the program. The postcard goes home with each student or family. Registration can be done on line, with a phone call or registration form.
